A quiet New Year’s Eve

After the excitement of the England trip, it was nice to have a low-key New Year’s Eve. We made a trip to the West Side Market and grocery store and spent the afternoon at home. We spent the evening in Bay Village with a group of George’s college friends, Eileen and Pat Meehan and two of their three kids (all great kids!), and other friends. George and I were both jet-lagged, so we didn’t even make it to midnight–we got home just as the clocked ticked past midnight. I had to get up to play for church on New Year’s Day, so I just went on to bed. Not exciting, but comfortable.
